Inside Out Community Arts and the Los Angeles Marathon invite you to participate on March 1, 2009 and support after-school arts programming for at-risk L.A. teens!

The L.A. Marathon Official Charity Program makes your participation more meaningful.  When you sign up here 100% of the funds you raise go to Inside Out Community Arts’ unique programs providing free, high quality, violence prevention activities for at-risk middle and high school youth. IT'S SIMPLE TO PARTICIPATE

INVITE FRIENDS, FAMILY & COLLEAGUES TO JOIN YOU ON THE COURSE OR AS PER-MILE SPONSORS!

1. Log on to www.lamarathon.com and register online to participate in the Los Angeles Marathon; the 5K Walk/Run; or the Acura L.A. Bike Tour (all are part of L.A. Marathon). You will receive information and instructions from L.A. Marathon on how to proceed. YOUR REGISTRATION FEE DOES NOT GO TO INSIDE OUT.
   
2. Once you have registered with the Marathon, come back to the Inside Out Community Arts website and fill out our registration form (MS Word). THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL FEE TO PARTICIPATE WITH INSIDE OUT.
   
3. Download the participant packet - Marathon Participant Packet (MS Word) or Marathon Participant Packet (PDF). You can start signing up sponsors for your run, walk or bike ride immediately - it's that simple!
   
4. Don't forget to sponsor yourself! And find out if your company will match your gift! CONTRIBUTIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE TO THE FULL EXTENT OF THE LAW.

Every year more of our program graduates run, walk and ride to sponsor peers that want to join Inside Out.  Your per-mile Youth Sponsorship (minimum $2 per mile = $52, no maximum!) will be assigned to one of the youth, who will be acknowledged with special certificates of recognition presented by our board of directors.  Click here to be a Youth Sponsor.
