Saturday Family Workshops

We involve the families of program participants in hands-on Saturday Arts Workshops. Currently, both The School Project and Neighborhood Arts Project offer these Family Workshops.

Saturday arts workshops promote creative interaction between parents and/or guardians and participants, using improv, drawing, writing, and movement. These workshops are structured to strengthen communication within families, increase parental involvement in the program, and inspire an appreciation for the arts among families.
